Indian Dental Association's Social Security Scheme (SSS) of IDA MSB
1. How it works ❓
Answer
In case of unfortunate death or permanent disability of any SSS member (200 rs of every member × total no. of SSS members i e 1006 uptill now) approximately 2,00,000 rs will be given to the deceased member's family. This amount will increase with increase in members.
2. How much amount to be paid❓
Answer
It depends upon age of the person. (Please refer the chart forwarded along with this message).
3. Should it be paid every year❓
Answer
No
The amount is taken in advance for 5 unfortunate deaths.
After that every member needs to pay 200 Rs for every deceased member.
4. I am very rich I have my medical insurance in crores so I don't need SSS....etc etc....❓
Answer
This is not about crores or lacs. It is our helping hand towards family of our colleague , our friend or our senior or junior dentist. We all are in the same profession. Don't you think it is our duty to help our colleague's family in unfortunate circumstance.
5. The payment details given are of bank based in Latur, is it ok if we transfer online to that account❓
Answer
Yes it's ok.
You can pay through the online mode as well as by cheque.
The cheque should be drawn in favor of Social security scheme of IDA-MSB.
The head office of SSS is in Latur.
Dr Vishnu Bhandari is the secretary.
Similarly every branch has SSS convenors.
6. It is approved in AGM meeting held at 57th MSDC Pune that it is compulsory for every IDA office bearer or committee member to be SSS member.
Register for SSS as soon as possible.
It is the scheme made for the dentists by the dentists.
All the SSS office bearers and convenors are working without any renumeration , voluntarily for this social cause.

You need to register only once for lifetime membership.
Charges will be as per your age in the chart.
Hard copy is must.

1) Print out of the SSS form,
2) 1 passport size photograph
3) Documents
i) Aadhar card Xerox
ii) Degree certificate xerox)
